“If you can’t dance to it, we don’t play it.” That is the manifesto that has led The Nine Mile Riders to becoming one of the most entertaining bands around today.
We were originally brought together by a mutual love of rock’n’roll and classic soul, but we now throw in a few curve balls to get the crowd singing, dancing and laughing.
We all have a background in television & radio presenting/production, which gives us an enviable stage presence and the ability to deal with any situation.
We are also punctual, not obnoxiously loud and have good manners. You could safely introduce us to your mother.
IMPORTANT NOTE – our bass player is regularly mistaken for George Clooney, which in the past has caused excitable fans to invade the stage. For this reason The Nine Mile Riders always have valid public liability insurance.
